Dear Parents,
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for allowing us to minister to you and your child. At Deep Creek Baptist Church, it is our goal to see your child come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and to grow in that relationship. We want church to be a fun place – a place where learning comes to life. We hope that the lessons learned and the relationships made here would make a positive and eternal impact in the life of you and your family. Through the ministries provided and as we partner with parents, we pray that children who “graduate” from the Children’s Ministry will be students of God’s Word as well as doers. We want kids to know and experience the value of daily Bible reading, Scripture memory, and Christian service – in church, their community, and in the world. 9:30 Sunday School
This is a time for children to learn lessons from the Bible, develop Bible skills, have fun, and realize how the Bible is relevant in their lives today. We also encourage the classes to participate in various community service/missions projects throughout the year and have social outings to build relationships with their teachers and classmates. |
11:00 Children’s Worship (Kids Time)
Children’s Worship is an exciting time for kids (K5 – 5th grade) to worship the Lord through music, videos, puppetry, skits, etc. Kids are learning the joy of worship. Church will never be called “boring” again! Kids Time begins with small groups in our children’s department and continues in the GYM. |

5:30 - 7 p.m. AWANA
Awana Club meetings are jam-packed with life-changing experiences. The club materials are filled with verses from the Bible and guidelines to help kids memorize and understand them. The goal of Awana is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. Awana includes three segments; Game Time, Handbook Time and Council Time. Once kids have been to Awana they will be excited to come back. |

6:30 – 8:00 Children’s Creative Ministry
Children’s Creative Ministry is offered September through May of each year and is intended to teach children different ways of expressing worship through musical concepts, sign language, praise dance, art and drama with a spiritual and biblical emphasis. Faithful, dedicated and talented volunteer workers offer a comprehensive program to help children experience many styles of worship. |

Mission Statement: Our vision is to provide top quality, professional martial arts instruction and to impact the realm of martial arts for the Lord on a global scale by presenting to students, and all whom they influence, the challenge of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, by serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church. | Children's Camp (Centri-Kid) |
| Children who have completed grades 3-5 are encouraged to attend children’s camp during the summer for a jam-packed week of fun and spiritual growth. This is a tremendous time that will eternally impact the life of your child. |

| Vacation Bible School is a highlight for many kids during the summer, but the impact doesn’t end in the summer – it’s eternal. The Children’s Ministry Staff invests months of preparation into making VBS at DCBC the best in Hampton Roads! From the Crafts, to Missions, to the awesome outdoor Recreation, to the high energy Worship Rally….we make sure your child is engaged in a complete and “fun” worship experience that will last a lifetime. |
